Crookneck Consulting LLC (that's us) publishes photography apps including The Photographer's Ephemeris (web, iOS, Android), The Photographer's Ephemeris 3D and The Photographer's Transit.
We are also partners with Skyfire Services LLC, who offer Skyfire, a forecasting service for photographers that predicts great sunrises and sunsets. Skyfire is offered as an optional subscription with The Photographer's Ephemeris on iOS (and a standalone Android app is also available, published by Skyfire Services LLC).
If you sign up for Location Synchronization within The Photographer's Ephemeris, or for Skyfire, you will be asked to create an account. We use this to store your basic account information (first name, last name, email address, password - in secure form), your subscription details, and any saved locations from the app.
You can manage your account from the Account page within Photo Ephemeris for iOS, Skyfire for Android (coming soon) and from the Locations page of the TPE web app.
If you no longer need an account, you can delete it, but please note this is irreversible and you will lose access to any active subscriptions and any saved locations associated with the account. If you have an active Photo Ephemeris Web subscription, you will need to cancel it prior to deleting your account.
Note 1: while you can sign into this Help Center site to create support tickets, the account used to sign in here is not the same as the Crookneck Photo Apps account used for TPE.
Note 2: your Apple ID or Google Account is not the same as a Crookneck Photo Apps account. More details here.
