Photo Ephemeris 3D and Photo Transit

September 2024 Update

We plan to withdraw both the following apps from sale on the Apple App Store by end of 2024:

• The Photographer's Ephemeris 3D
• The Photographer's Transit

We will continue to support the back end services required by these apps for 2 years after withdrawal of the apps from sale.

It's possible that some unforeseen technical barrier may appear that causes things to stop working prior to that, but, as far as things are in our control, we plan to keep the necessary services operational with the intention of keeping the apps functioning for a 2-year post retirement period.

It is possible that future iOS updates may not be compatible with one or both of the apps. If we become aware of any such incompatibility we'll post an update on this site. We recommend checking here for updates prior to updating your OS version if retaining access is important for you.

Bug fix updates to the app will not be possible after their withdrawal from sale.

The apps will remain available to reinstall via your App Store purchase history, if required.

Future Plans

We expect to include the main functionality from each app in a future update to our primary iOS app, The Photographer's Ephemeris. The exact appearance and behavior will not be identical to the older apps - as you might expect, things have evolved since those apps were first released.

We recommend to keep the apps installed to ensure you have access to the additional functionality in TPE once we release it.

While we don't have a final timeline for the release of the next major update to TPE, rest assured we're working hard on it and are keen to get it into your hands as soon as we can.
