Upon creating an account for use with Photo Ephemeris, you will be sent an email to verify your email address. This is important to ensure that we can communicate with you to help with password reset requests and that you are able to receive other account related messages, such as subscription details.
If you have marked any of these messages as spam, your account may be locked. This is because once a spam complaint has been received, we are unable to send you any further emails until your address is reactivated by the email service provider that delivered messages on our behalf to you.
What is a spam complaint?
A Spam Complaint occurs when a recipient manually marks an email as spam in their email client. This could in some instances be a mistake by the recipient but usually means they no longer want to receive emails us. Read more.
Why is my account locked if you can still reply to my support ticket?
We use separate systems to handle customer support tickets and account related emails. Your address may be locked by one system but not the other.
What can I do to get this fixed?
If you would like us to attempt to recover your account after submitting a spam complaint, please email us, or reply to an existing support ticket, explicitly stating that you wish to receive email from us (Crookneck Consulting LLC) to your email address. Ensure that the request is sent from the email address in question.
Once received, we will attempt to have your address reactivated by the appropriate email service provider (we use multiple providers) and, if successful, will remove the lock on your account.
